Fresh or canned peaches can be used to make this delicious baked French toast. Before baking, this breakfast casserole needs to soak for at least 2 hours, but can also set overnight for best results.
Fresh vs Canned Peaches
If you are using fresh peaches, you will need to peel and cut them into slices.
If you are having trouble peeling the peaches, place them in a pot of boiling water for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Then place them in an ice bath and the peel should come off easily.
For canned peaches, make sure to drain the peaches well before using.
