    Baked peach oatmeal is a healthy breakfast and a delicious way to start your day. This delicious and easy peach baked oatmeal recipe is made with fresh peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon and old-fashioned rolled oats.

    Recipe Ingredients

    Ingredients for baked peach oatmeal laid out.

    To make Baked Peach Oatmeal you will need, Old-Fashioned Oats, Brown Sugar, Cinnamon, Baking Powder, Melted Butter, Salt, Vanilla, Milk, and Fresh Peaches.

    Step-by-Step Recipe Directions

    Start by preheating the oven to 375 degrees F. Then, spray an 8" x 8" baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

    Wash and peel the peaches if desired. Slice one peach into about 15 - 18 sections. Cube more peaches to equal 1 cup.

    Brown sugar, oats, cinnamon, and baking powder in a large bowl.

    In a large bowl, combine the old fashioned oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and baking powder. Add the melted butter and stir until well combined.

    In a separate bowl, combine the milk with the vanilla.

    Diced peaches on top of a cinnamon oats and milk mixture.

    Add the milk and vanilla mixture to the bowl with the oats and brown sugar. Stir to combine. Fold in the diced peaches.

    Poor the oatmeal batter into the prepared baking dish. Spread the mixture so that is lays evenly. The batter will be a bit thin at this point.

    Lay the sliced peaches over the top of the oatmeal batter. The oatmeal is now ready to bake. Place it in the oven and bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until thickened and set.

    Allow the oatmeal to cool for 5 to 10 minutes.

    Cut the oatmeal into squares and serve. Add your favorite oatmeal toppings if you like. Maple syrup, whipped cream, additional brown sugar are all delicious on this baked peach oatmeal recipe.

    Can I reheat leftovers of baked peach oatmeal?

    Yes, you can reheat leftovers of baked peach oatmeal. Simply microwave individual portions or reheat in the oven. Add a splash of milk if needed to restore the desired consistency.

    Can I use can or frozen peaches in this baked oatmeal recipe?

    This recipe was written for, and tested with, fresh peaches. If you would like to try canned peaches, drain them well first. If you are trying frozen peaches, thaw them out thoroughly and completely drain before using.

    Can I customize baked peach oatmeal with additional ingredients?

    Sure! Try adding nuts or dried fruit to the recipe. Maybe try some fresh apricots or nectarines in place of the peaches.
