Instructions
Prepare a 9 by 13-inch baking dish by spraying it with non-stick cooking spray.
Place the bread cubes into the baking dish.
Top the bread cubes with the sliced peaches.
Mix together the eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, milk, cream, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
Pour the egg mixture over the peach and bread cubes. Make sure all the bread gets soaked.
Drizzle the melted butter over the top.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate the peach breakfast casserole for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best result.
Remove the peach French toast from the refrigerator and preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
When the oven is ready, uncover the casserole dish and bake the French toast 45 to 60 minutes, or until completely set and golden brown on top.
Let the Baked French Toast cool for at least 10 minutes before serving. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Notes
If you are using fresh peaches, you will need to peel and cut them into slices.If you are having trouble peeling the peaches, place them in a pot of boiling water for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Then place them in an ice bath and the peel should come off easily. For canned peaches, make sure to drain the peaches well before using.
