This recipe for Copycat Walnut Banana Bread is for my daughter. She absolutely loves the Banana Nut Bread from Starbucks.

2 slices of banana bread on a white plate

My daughter, who would much rather eat anything from a fast food drive thru or the freezer section of the grocery store than anything home cooked, loves banana bread.

In these newer photos, I have made the same recipe but with pecans instead of walnuts. Yum, yum, yum!

2 slices of banana bread on a white plate

She is especially fond of the banana nut bread from Starbucks. We seldom make a stop for a beverage without her ordering a slice. And yes, we would like that warmed.

Still, I continue to try to find something that she will eat at home that I don’t have to stress over the nutritional value.

    Copycat Walnut Banana Bread

This recipe for banana bread is topped with walnuts (or pecans) and a sprinkling of chocolate chips. I added the chips as a little extra enticement to get her to eat it. No, Thad, you can't have any.

As usual my son came in and gobbled some up, but my daughter also enjoyed this recipe. Thank goodness! So here it is baby girl, from me to you, a recipe I hope you enjoy for many years to come.
