If you happen to have a little bit of canned pumpkin left from our Easy Pumpkin Pancakes or No Bake Pumpkin Cheesecake, your family will appreciate you giving this recipe a try.

    Recipe Ingredients

    Labeled ingredients for pumpkin milkshakes.

This Pumpkin Milkshake recipe calls for vanilla ice cream, however, if you would like to kick it up a notch, give some coffee-flavored ice cream a try! Pumpkin Spice Latte Milkshakes are awesome!

    Mom tip

Get your ice cream scoop and a measuring cup. Fill the ice cream scoop with water and pour it into the measuring cup. This will help you to measure the ice cream.

My scoop is ¼ cup. I usually use 4 to 6 scoops of ice cream in this recipe, depending on the desired thickness of the milkshake.

    Notes

    How to measure ice cream
Measure your ice cream scoop. Add water to the scoop and pour it into a measuring cup. My scoop equals ¼ cup. For this recipe, use four scoops of ice cream.
Or, if your blender has guidelines, you can add the milk to the blender and add the ice cream until the milk level rises.

    Try a Pumpkin Latte Milkshake
Use coffee ice cream in place of vanilla ice cream.
