Just after Christmas 2016, my daughter was relaxing and watching YouTube Videos when I handed her this beverage that I decided to call Dr. Pepper Surprise.

Dr. Pepper Surprise in a glass with ice

I told her to give the drink a try and tell me what she thought. Her eyes lit up in total surprise and she said,  "Wow, that is good"!

She doesn't drink a lot of soda, but she really does like these little concoctions I come up with now and then.

I have been trying to come up with some new beverage twists for the kids to enjoy especially for holidays and special occasions.

I kicked up some Dr. Pepper by adding some ginger ale and maraschino cherry. So, this Dr. Pepper Surprise is for my daughter. Happy New Year, Sweetie!

    Dr. Pepper Surprise

    ⅓ cup of Dr. Pepper

    ⅓ cup of Ginger Ale

2 - 3 teaspoons of Maraschino Cherry juice

    1 - 2 Maraschino Cherries

Pour Dr. Pepper and ginger ale in a glass. Add the maraschino cherry juice and stir. Add ice and top off with a couple of maraschino cherries.
