Possibly the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies according to my family. These cookies are soft inside and slightly crisp around the edges. Not exactly chewy, but definitely not crunchy. Full of flavor and absolutely delicious.

To keep the cookies fresh and soft, I like to store them in a large Zip-loc bag. They will last 3 to 4 days sitting on the counter.

In my cookies similar to this, I only use brown sugar and the small box of pudding mix. Can the oil be exchanged for butter in your recipe?
Keri
I am sure you can use butter in place of the oil. My mother always used half butter and half oil, and I just continue the tradition. All butter might make a slightly different texture but I am sure they will still be delicious.
