Ingredients needed to make pizza sliders are: Hawaiian Dinner Rolls, Melted Butter, Garlic Powder, Italian Seasoning, Parmesan Cheese, Mozzarella Cheese, Pepperoni, and Pizza Sauce.
Ingredient notes
- Change up the recipe a bit and add your favorite pizza toppings. green pepper, black olives, or onion.
- Spice the pizza up a bit by adding some red pepper flakes. You can do this to your individual rolls.
- Instead of garlic powder, try adding fresh garlic to the butter mixture.
Step-by-step recipe directions
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a baking sheet by covering it with nonstick spray, parchment paper, or aluminum foil.
Slice the Hawaiian rolls through the middle. Place the bottom half of the rolls on the baking sheet, set the top of the rolls aside for now.
Spread ¼ cup of the pizza sauce over the bottom section of rolls. Add more according to personal taste, and save the remaining to use as a dipping sauce later.
Next, spread half of the mozzarella cheese over the pizza sauce.
Layer pepperoni over the cheese.
Over the pepperoni, spread the remaining shredded cheese.
Now, add the top half of the rolls.
Melt the butter and mix it with the Italian seasoning and garlic.
Brush the garlic butter over the top of the rolls.
Sprinkle some parmesan cheese over the top if you like.
Cover the sliders with a piece of foil and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover the rolls and continue to bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the sliders are golden brown.
Cut the sliders into sections and serve warm.
