    Peanut Butter Grilled Sandwich

    This Peanut Butter Grilled Sandwich has a couple of extra layers of yum! A layer of warm, gooey Nutella and another layer of warm, gooey Peanut Butter. In the middle some nice sliced banana. All of this surrounded by crispy, golden brown toasted bread.

    How about Nutella?

    One day, when my daughter was much younger, she was home ill from school and she didn’t have much of an appetite. I asked her if she wanted a grilled cheese sandwich… no.  A Nutella sandwich… no. A Peanut Butter sandwich… no. How about a Peanut Butter, Nutella, and Banana Grilled Sandwich… YES!

    Here we are, years later, and she still enjoys this childhood treat. I have to admit, I enjoy it too occasionally.


    Peanut Butter, Nutella, & Banana Grilled Sandwich

    Ingredients

    • Peanut Butter
    • Nutella
    • Bread
    • Banana
    • Butter or Margarine

    Directions

    Warm a skillet over medium heat.

    Take two slices of bread and put peanut butter on one piece and Nutella on the other.

    Slice banana length wide into ¼ to ½ inch width slices. Lay a row of banana on one slice of bread and top with the other.

    Lightly butter both outer sides of the bread and cook just like a grilled cheese sandwich. When the sandwich is golden brown on both sides it is done!
