Before the kids came along, my husband and I would enjoy going out for the occasional Champagne Brunch. We wouldn’t even have thought about Virgin Mimosas. We would drink a little too much, and eat way too much. As much as I love Champagne, I know now that just a little bit would be a guaranteed headache for me. I guess those days are over.

This past Easter, I made some of these Virgin Mimosa’s for us. They were delicious and the kids were able to enjoy them too.
It was a wonderful Easter day. My son and husband went to an early movie while my daughter and I stayed home. We dyed some eggs and decided to give Southern Fatty’s Homemade Marshmallow Peeps a try. (They were amazing!)
I made some Hot Cross Buns, and when my husband got home he put some Baby Back Ribs on the grill. We had Deviled Eggs, Shirley Temples, and these Virgin Mimosas.
My kids told me to make sure I put the Shirley Temples and Virgin Mimosas on the blog. They are both simple to put together, and a great beverage for kids (and adults).
To make the Virgin Mimosas you need…

Virgin Mimosas
Lemon Lime Soda
Orange Juice
Limeade
I even found some really inexpensive plastic champagne glasses at the dollar store.
First of all, fill your glass about half full with orange juice.
Next, add a splash or two of limeade.
Top it off with the lemon lime soda.
Enjoy!
