These simple little mini muffins are great for a light breakfast or a quick snack. They are the perfect sidekick to a cup of coffee, tea, or a glass of milk.

Ingredients needed
Ingredients you will need are Bisquick, Milk, Canola Oil, Applesauce, Brown Sugar, Egg, and Apple Pie Spice. If you do not have Apple Pie Spice, Cinnamon can be used in its place. Also, there are many variations of homemade Apple Pie Spice available on the internet.
Using a cookie scoop makes this job of filling the mini muffin cups a lot easier. I like to use paper liners for easier cleanup.
I sprinkled a little extra brown sugar on top of the mini muffins.
Applesauce Spice Mini Bites
Ingredients needed for this recipe
- 1 ½ cups Bisquick
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- ⅓ cup Milk
- ½ cup Applesauce
- 2 tablespoons Canola Oil
- 1 teaspoon Apple Pie Spice (or Cinnamon)
How to make this recipe
Beat the egg and mix well with brown sugar. Add the milk, applesauce, and oil. Next, add the Bisquick and Apple Pie Spice and stir just until combined.
Fill mini muffin pan with batter. You can add a little extra brown sugar on top if you like.
Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes.
Makes 24-30 mini muffin bites.
