Trim edges of corn if desired to make it easier to insert corn cob holders.
Bring a large pot of water to boil over medium high heat.
Add the corn and cover. Cook for about 10 minutes.
Remove and drain the excess moisture off the corn.
Make the BBQ seasoning blend
Add all of the spices together and mix well. You can easily double this recipe. Store leftover spice blend in a covered container.
Time to eat
Attach corn cob holders to the corn and swirl in butter.
Smother on some mayonnaise.
Sprinkle BBQ seasoning over the top and twirl, twirl, twirl.

Notes
I double this recipe for BBQ spice blend and use it on chicken, beef, etc. Store it in a covered container. If you rather use the microwave to cook the corn, wrap the cleaned corn in a damp paper towel and microwave for 2 to 3 minutes.
