½teaspoonGarlic Powderor 1 -2 pieces of fresh garlic
½teaspoonSalt
1Roma Tomatodiced
⅓cupRed Oniondiced
¼cupCilantrochopped
Instructions
Cut the avocados in half and scoop out into a medium-sized mixing bowl.
6 medium Avocados
Use a fork or a potato masher to mash the avocados. Mash more for a smoother texture, and less for a chunkier texture.
Add the juice of 1 lime, the garlic powder, and salt to the mashed avocado.
1 Lime, ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder, ½ teaspoon Salt
Add the finely chopped red onion, diced tomatoes, and cilantro. Mix until blended.
1 Roma Tomato, ⅓ cup Red Onion, ¼ cup Cilantro
Taste the guacamole and adjust any seasonings as desired.
Notes
To keep the guacamole from browning, keep it in an airtight container and/or cover it with plastic wrap. Press the plastic wrap onto the guacamole to keep any air from reaching it. Serve this guacamole with tacos, burgers, on toast or with chips. Add jalapeno or serrano pepper for a bit of heat. Don't like cilantro or onion? Leave them out. The guacamole will still be delicious.
