Sauteed Green Beans are simple, and done in just a few minutes. I often use this same exact method for asparagus.

Salt and Pepper
Red Pepper Flakesoptional
Clean and prepare fresh green beans. I use about 1/2 a pound, or a little bit more.
Heat a skillet over medium high heat.
When the pan is warm, drizzle with a little olive oil. Add the beans and sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste. You can also add a little garlic powder if you like, and/or a little sprinkle of red pepper flakes to add a touch of heat.
Cook and stir the green beans until they are still slightly crisp, but not no longer really firm. I used the thinner French Green Beans and they took about 4 -5 minutes. You may need to cook a little longer if you are using the larger green beans.
Remove from heat, put on serving dish is you wish, and sprinkle with a little bit of Parmesan Cheese.
