4Salmon Filetsabout 6 ounces each - with or without skin
1tablespoonOlive Oil
½teaspoonSalt
¼teaspoonBlack Pepper
¼teaspoonPaprika
¼teaspoonGarlic Powder
For the Glaze
¼cupFresh Orange Juice
2tablespoonsFresh Lemon Juice
2tablespoonsHoney
1tablespoonSoy Sauce
1teaspoonDijon Mustard
½teaspoonCornstarch
1teaspoonWater
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pat the 4 Salmon Filets dry and rub with 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
Sprinkle with ½ teaspoon Salt¼ teaspoon Black Pepper, ¼ teaspoon Paprika, and ¼ teaspoon Garlic Powder
Place the salmon on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, until it flakes easily with a fork.
While the salmon bakes, combine ¼ cup Fresh Orange Juice, 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice, 2 tablespoons Honey, 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce and 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer.
Mix together the ½ teaspoon Cornstarch, and 1 teaspoon Water.
Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Brush the glaze over the cooked salmon and serve warm.
Notes
Tips:You can take the salmon out of the oven a minute or two early, brush it with the glaze, and return it to the oven to finish cooking.In place a salmon, try steelhead trout.Optional Flavor Enhancers
Sprinkle with a bit of fresh dill.
Add a pinch of ginger to the glaze for warmth.
Try a dash of red pepper flakes on the salmon for a bit of heat.
