Slice the chicken breast, onion, and peppers. Place in a Zip-loc bag or bowl.
Make the Marinade
Mix together the juice and zest from 1 orange, the olive oil, and the fajita spices. Add the marinade to the chicken and veggies. Let marinate for 30 minutes, all day, or over night.
Cook the Chicken Fajitas
Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit.
Drain the marinade from the chicken and veggies.
Cook the chicken fajita mixture for 12 to 15 minutes. Toss the mixture half-way through cooking time.
The chicken fajita mixture is done when the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Drizzle lime juice over the cooked chicken mixture.
Serve the chicken fajitas with your choice of tortilla shells and toppings.

Add the spices and orange zest (if desired) to the chicken, onions, and peppers, and cook right away. You will still have delicious chicken fajitas, but without the wait.
