Mac 'N Cheese
A combination of Cheddar and Parmesan are used in this simple one pan, yummy Mac 'N Cheese the kids will love. Easy to prepare and clean up!
- 1 lb Macaroni cooked
- 4 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons Flour
- 2 1/2 cups Milk
- 8 ounces of shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 4 ounces of shredded Parmesan Cheese
Melt the butter in a sauce pan over medium heat.
Add the flour, stir and cook for a couple of minutes.
Add a little salt, pepper, and a dash of nutmeg. Stir. Slowly whisk in the milk. Stir and cook for a few minutes, the sauce will thicken up.
Next, add the cheeses and stir until melted. Sample, and adjust the salt, pepper, and nutmeg as needed.
Mix the sauce with the cooked macaroni. Stir well. Serve.
