Mac 'N Cheese

A combination of Cheddar and Parmesan are used in this simple one pan, yummy Mac 'N Cheese the kids will love. Easy to prepare and clean up!

  • 1 lb Macaroni cooked
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Nutmeg
  • 2 1/2 cups Milk
  • 8 ounces of shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 ounces of shredded Parmesan Cheese


  • Melt the butter in a sauce pan over medium heat.
  • Add the flour, stir and cook for a couple of minutes.
  • Add a little salt, pepper, and a dash of nutmeg. Stir. Slowly whisk in the milk. Stir and cook for a few minutes, the sauce will thicken up.
  • Next, add the cheeses and stir until melted. Sample, and adjust the salt, pepper, and nutmeg as needed.
  • Mix the sauce with the cooked macaroni. Stir well. Serve.
