My family loves pumpkin pie, but we love butternut squash pie just a little bit more!

To make this recipe, you need : Butternut Squash Butter Brown Sugar Evaporated Milk Eggs  Vanilla Pumpkin Pie Spice Cornstarch Salt Pie Shell

Peel and cube the butternut squash. Cook until fork tender. Drain and mash. 

Measure butternut squash puree into a boil, add the butter and the remaining pie ingredients. Mix. 

Pour the pie filling into the unbaked pie shell.  Bake the pie for 50 to 60 minutes in a 350 degree oven. 

Let the pie cool.  Serve the Butternut Squash Pie with whipped topping.
