Banana Almond Bran Muffins

A bran muffin that tastes like banana bread? Yep!

– All-Bran Cereal – Bananas - extra ripe – Canola Oil – Egg – Milk – Brown Sugar – Almond Extract – Flour – Baking Powder – Salt – Slivered Almonds

Mash bananas in a large bowl. Add the cereal, milk, egg, oil, brown sugar, and almond extract.

Stir well. Let the mixture set a few minutes while you prepare the muffin pan. 

Stir the cereal mixture again and add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir just until combined.

Divide the banana bran muffin batter into a muffin pan, you should get 12 muffins. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top of the batter.

Bake in a 375-degree oven for 18 - 20 minutes, until golden brown. Cool slightly and enjoy!
