It is always exciting when I open up my mailbox and find the wonderful spice kits from Raw Spice Bar! Today I am using their Horseradish & Mustard Seeds blend to make some delicious Homemade Oven Potato Chips.
These chips were so good that my husband and I almost ate them all before the kids had a chance to sample them!
First of all, I want to apologize for the blurry pictures. I had to use my camera phone and although they looked fine on the phone, here they are a little blurred. However, these Oven Potato Chips were so tasty I did not want to miss the opportunity to get them on the blog.
Oven Potato Chips
I started by washing and peeling my potatoes. They don’t really need to be peeled, but I decided to go ahead and do it this time. I then used my mandoline and sliced the potatoes to about ¼ inch thick. Place them in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and spices.
Lay the seasoned potatoes flat on a baking sheet, making sure not to over crowd. Place them in a 400 degree pre-heated oven. I cooked them for about 10-12 minutes, until they were nicely browned on the bottom. Flip them over and continue to cook another 10 – 12 minutes, or until browned and crispy.
Let cool slightly and serve! The Horseradish and Mustard Seeds spices were absolutely delicious on these easy to make Oven Potato Chips.
