No doubt about it, this recipe is a winner with my family. Who doesn't like Rice Krispies Cookies? Although the original recipe is great, there is nothing wrong with changing it up a bit. Here is a simple recipe for Chocolate Raspberry Rice Krispies Cookies.

With the addition of some dried raspberries and dark chocolate, you have a whole new cookie. Plus, they are the perfect treat to make for your special someone for Valentine's Day.
It all started with a recipe I pulled out of a magazine. They had added cocoa powder and dried cherries. That sounded good, but I just happened to have a bag of dried raspberries I purchased at Target.
I thought I would put some dark chocolate on top instead of mixing in cocoa powder, Delicious!
Put the Chocolate Raspberry Rice Krispies Cookies in the refrigerator to cool completely and allow the chocolate to set up. Cut into squares, serve and enjoy!

Dash of Salt
1 cup or so Dried Raspberries
