- Sprinkles and/or Jimmies - to decorate the hat.
- Gummy Streamers - for the rim of the hat.
- White Sprinkling Sugar - to make a glistening snow effect.
If you are using a box cake mix, remember most boxed mixes call for water, eggs, and vegetable oil.
Step-by-Step Recipe Directions
Spread the frosting smoothly over the cooled cupcakes using a spatula or butter knife.
For the hat, cut gummy streamers to fit across the cupcakes. Position one gummy streamer on each cupcake about ⅓ from one side.
Sprinkle matching-colored jimmies or sprinkles along the exposed cupcake top.

- 2 tubs White Frosting or homemade
- 8 strips Gummy Streamers split and cut to make 12 pieces
- ¼ cup Sprinkles or Jimmies
