Ground Turkey Swedish Meatballs
Ground Turkey Swedish Meatballs. I never would have thought that making homemade Swedish Meatballs could be so easy and taste so good.
  • 1 pound Ground Turkey
  • ¼ cups Breadcrumbs, plain
  • ½ cup Half 'n Half, divided
  • ½ cup Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon Allspice
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley
  • Olive Oil
  1. Put all ingredients into a bowl and combine well. Like meatloaf, using your hands is the best way to do this. (don't forget to wash your hands!)
  2. Use a cookie scoop and and scoop meatballs onto a sheet of parchment paper or foil.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium to medium high heat. Add a tablespoon or so of olive oil and the meatballs.
  4. Cook the Swedish Meatballs until they brown and flip them over. Continue to turn and cook until the meatballs are nicely browned.
  5. Add one can, about 15 ounces of beef broth and bring to simmer. Cook until the meatballs reach at least 165 degrees internally.
  6. Finally, add ¼ cup half 'n half and warm through. Serve the meatballs and sauce over egg noodles. Enjoy!
