Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
Serves: 4 dozen
My kids absolutely love this recipe for Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies. Slightly crisp on the outside, chewy and chocolaty on the inside. Yum!
  • 1 stick Butter, softened
  • ½ cup Oil
  • ¾ cup granulated Sugar
  • ¾ cup firmly packed Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 2¼ cups of all purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • 2 cups of Old Fashioned Oats
  • 2 cups of Chocolate Chips
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, canola oil and the sugars.
  3. Mix in the eggs and vanilla and blend well.
  4. In a separate bowl mix the flour with the salt and baking soda.
  5. Add the flour to the butter mixture. Mix until combined.
  6. Stir in the oatmeal and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop by spoonfuls (or cookie scoopfuls) onto baking sheet.
  8. Bake 10 - 11 minutes until done.
