My husband and son love Blue Cheese, so one day while in Costco, I bought them a huge block of it. The next thing I know is my husband had gone to the store and bought a bottle of Blue Cheese Dressing. I asked him why he didn’t make his own, we already had the blue cheese. He said he never thought of it and he wasn’t sure how to start. So the other day we worked together and came up with this recipe.
I had to make a second batch just to get a picture so I could put the recipe on the blog for him. I even had to grab that second batch from him, while he was eating lunch, and take the shots before he ate any more!
I would call this recipe a success.
Blue Cheese Dressing
- ¼ cup Mayonnaise
- ½ cup Sour Cream
- ½ cup Milk
- 2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ⅛ teaspoon Pepper
- ¾ - 1 cup Blue Cheese, crumbled
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Use a fork to help mash up the blue cheese if the crumbles are too big. The dressing is best when it has a chance to set in the refrigerator for awhile. Enjoy!
